Blood. It was everywhere. A dark pool spreading across the floor, and in the middle a body white as snow. Pale white, all except for his shirt, ripped and bloody. The moonlight broke out from beneath the clouds and shone on the dead man's face. Yet a shadow began to grow on the cadaver. A young girl stood looking down at him, grinning, her face caked with mud.
